While residents of Ward 14 care deeply about issues impacting them exclusively, I know they also have concerns about the city as a whole. That is because in order for the Ward to be prosperous, the city must be as well. I believe there are 5 key interconnect issues we must address together:

Economic Recovery
- The basis of London’s economy has changed dramatically in the last year. Fresh approaches are needed to manage the new challenges this brings.
Prosperity
- London has the capacity to be a beacon of prosperity in SouthWestern Ontario. Strong leadership is needed to achieve that vision.
Job Creation
- London lost thousands of jobs during the economic downturn. Putting Londoners back to work requires us to boldly foster the ideas that bring tomorrow’s industries here.
Spreading the Tax Load
- Attracting employers to London provides the city with greater revenues, allowing your tax dollars to deliver better services. Council members need to capitalize on opportunities brought to them when business are interested in London.
Talent Retention
- Each year thousands of UWO and Fanshawe graduates choose not to begin their careers in London. We can no longer afford to miss out on these opportunities for community investment and revenue.
