My Commitment
I am proud to work for my family’s business, Z Group, a development company that has been part of London’s history for more than four decades. As a candidate for City Council, however, I am also aware that it’s plausible for matters directly impacting Z Group to come before council.
So here is my pledge to the people of London: in any instance of conflict of interest, I would remove myself from Council’s debate and abstain from voting. This is because I believe that ethics and transparency are of paramount importance, and this principle will guide me as a City Councillor. I am running for the privilege of representing all Londoners, and specifically, the residents of my ward. Your concerns — and nothing else — will always come first.
